The question of the value of experience vs. youth in hiring a real estate agent seems to be coming up frequently with a large number of newer agents appearing lately.  The enthusiasm of the newer agents is infectious.
But-- on the other hand a seasoned agent might be the better choice if you are selling a home, especially if there is a possibility that complications might arise.
You must know where I'm coming from-- I'm a seasoned agent; but I have been in the shoes of being a new agent, although several years ago.
The best course of action?  Interview both, see where they're coming from.  What support does the newer agent have?  Has the experienced agent kept in touch with the current realities of the real estate market?  Are they aware of recent innovations?
I would be more than happy to answer any questions you might have if you are a buyer, a seller, or will be in both positions.  Call me at the number listed below.  I will be happy to assist.
