Denver Home Inventory At All Time Low And Now Is Your Opportunity To Sell And Cash In On Your Equity

As of February 2015 the number of active listings in the Denver Metro area is at a staggering 4473 homes.  This is the lowest number of homes on the market that we have seen in decades.    In March of 2010 there were over 28700 homes on the market and July 2010 was the highest number of homes we saw on the market in the last 5 years coming in at 33,048 active listings.  See the graph below.

With this all time low number of active listings and buyer demand still extremely high driven with the low interest rates now is probably on of the most opportune times to sell as a home owner.  We have seen home values raise as much as over 14% in the Denver area.  

At this time it still important to know the value of proper marketing when it comes to listing a home.   Demand the highest level of service and marketing of your home to ensure you get the highest and best offer on your property.  Make sure your agent is experienced and qualified to handle the negotiations that come with multiple offer situations.  With the market being what it is now you need to have an experience agent with a proven track record on your side.
