The rental market is continuing to climb in Denver, with no real relief in sight.  As a matter of fact, the rental market is trending in this "shoot for the sky" increase rate around the entire nation.  I found this article, thanks to "The Atlantic, City Lab", citing a new study that residents in Colorado need a minimum wage of $19.89/hour to afford a 2 bedroom apartment in our colorful state.

The average Aurora resident makes $16.08/hour with the average Denver resident making $19.01/hour.  Does anyone else find this to be crazy?!

So why exactly are you still renting?  You could be building equity, instead of your land lord.  You could be living in a larger condo or home.  You could be a homeowner before the first snow this fall........  What are you waiting for??
