When it comes to selling homes, people often make a checklist of what has to happen for their plan to flow.

Getting a Carbon Monoxide Detector isn't usually on top of that list. :)

It should be however because it is an odorless, colorless gas that can kill you.

At an appraisal time, one will need t least 15ft from each bedroom.

The good news is their cheap, and you can find them at pretty much any hardware store.  They range in price from about $20 to about $50 for a fancier model. The easiest ones when you're in a rush are ones that plug into a wall.

If you're listing your condo, townhouse or home with me, I keep extra ones on hand that you can have for cost. This will save you a trip to the store and make sure you're compliant
