Big Curling Event This Weekend At Denver Curling Center

Come out to the Denver Curling Club  for some big curling action from Thursday evening (February 26) through Sunday afternoon (March 1).  There will be 32 teams (128 curlers) competing in the first annual Mile High Denver Open Bonspiel.  A bonspiel is the curling term for tournament.  Entry is free into the curling club.  There will be food and beverages for purchase.  A silent auction.  Raffles.  A great event for young and old alike.  Members will be on hand to answer any curling related questions and discuss opportunities if you are interested yourself!

Curlers are coming from around the country representing at least 18 states and 26 different curling clubs.  Included are some nationally recognized curlers as well.  Besides Thursday evening, games will run from 7:30am to 11:00pm on both Friday and Saturday and then games Sunday morning with the finals at 1:00pm on Sunday.  Come watch some live curling!
