Should you rent or buy? Well, One advantage is that the percentage of income that is needed to purchase has declined and rent continues to rise. The interest rates are an all-time low and make buying a home practical. There are many options available and can help you buy or even lease to own. As we get older the rent will continue rising, whereas if you have a mortgage it will stay the same payment for 30 years. It may be expensive now but cheaper in the long run. When I talk to people that have lived in their house for the last 15 years their mortgage is $900 and the average rent now is $1600. These numbers vary but it is a great representation.
