We know. Ski resorts have started opening and the mountains are calling. But before you commit to hours on I-70 in search of that perfect pow day, check out what's going on right here in town. We’ve got a ramen festival as well as a special pie and beer pairing (they’re good together!). There's even a season opening party where you could win a new board to take with you when you do head to the hills. Catch you out there. 

Get scared (one more time) at The 13th Floor’s Blackout event

Just in case you didn’t quite get your fill of Halloween fun, you’ve got one more chance this weekend. One of the area’s scariest haunted houses is closing out the season with two nights where you can dare to explore the frightening sites in the pitch dark with only a glowstick to light your way. Good luck, you’re gonna need it.
Cost: General admission is $27.99

Dine out in Boulder during First Bite

During Boulder's restaurant week you can enjoy three-course prix-fixe meals at over 30 of the areas best eateries. New this year is updated pricing, with meal options being offered for $29 and $49-per-person.

Eat your way through Rock-a-Belly 2019

With music from Mr. Majestyk's 8-Track Revival along with food from top local restaurants plus beer, wine and spirits, there’s a lot of delicious possibilities at this event. Bonus: you’ll be eating and drinking for a good cause because all Rock-a-Belly proceeds go to Food For Thought Denver who helps provide weekend food to low-income students in Denver.

Slurp up the noods at Ramen-O-Rama!

Ramen, ramen everywhere. And it’s all for you. This new fest is here to highlight all the noodly, brothy goodness in Denver. Along with unlimited samples of all kinds of ramen, there will also be live music, games, and an open bar.

Celebrate military members at the Denver Veterans Day Festival

This weekend, take some time to honor those that have served the country at this annual festival that follows the Veteran’s Day parade. Come by to meet former and current military members, check out the music stage, sample food, and see displays of modern and vintage military vehicles.

Kick off winter at the 2019 Opening Day Party

In case you somehow missed it, Colorado's ski mountains have started to open so it's time to grab your gear and hit the slopes. But first, let's party in honor of Colorado's favorite winter sports. Breckenridge Brewery is back with it's annual Opening Day bash featuring giveaways including your chance to win an "Artist Series" board from Breckenridge Brewery and Never Summer featuring custom art by Kal Urso. You can also get a free board wax, ride the snow ramp, watch the premiere of a Never Summer film, and more. Oh, and beer. There will definitely be beer.

Party at Grandma’s House for their 5th anniversary

Everyone’s favorite knick-knack filled brewery has been serving up brews in retro cartoon cups for half a decade and now they’re ready to celebrate. Stop by for special beer releases, bingo and other games, a bit of comedy, dancing, and even a grandma-themed costume party so break out your best mumu and slippers. And if you miss the fun Saturday, swing by on Sunday for the latest edition of one of this brewery’s best ongoing events: foul-mouthed cross-stitching.

Taste pie and beer pairings

Satisfy your sweet tooth at this special beer pairing event featuring pies from Good Sugar Baking. Pairings include tasty combos like cranberry brie with Raspberry Soiree, and chocolate pumpkin with Nightmare Fuel. You’ll also have the chance to pre-order pies for Thanksgiving so make sure to tell your friends and family that’s you’ve got dessert this year.
Cost: $16 gets you four mini pies with beer pairings

This event has grown over the years into a week-long celebration of creativity in Mile High fashion and style. Come see the spectacle for yourself with events like this weekend’s collaborative Fashion X Art show and an Avant-garde show aimed at pushing boundaries.
