October is one of my favorite months of the year. You can’t beat the cool air, beautiful warm fall colors, amazing fall fragrances, and family fun activities and festivals.

As this month quickly passes there are so many events and activities you can still bring your spooky ghost, princess, super-hero, and little pumpkin to have a spootackular time!

Glow at the Gardens – as of now available dates left are October 18, 19, 25, and 26 from 5:30-9:30. Be sure to buy tickets in advance.

There will be larger-than-life pumpkin displays and many activities for children of all ages. Such as, pumpkin carving, face painting, music, scavenger hunt, crafts, and costume contest.

Boo At The Zoo – October 21, 22, 28, and 29 from 9AM – 6PM

This is the 32nd annual Boo At The Zoo. There will be more than 25 trick-or-treat stations along with animal demonstrations and family-friendly entertainment. Such as, Pirate Meet and Greet, Fairy Meet and Greet, Princess Sing Along, Magic Rob, Juggling show and more. (times of activities and entertainment vary).

Corn Maze at Chatfield Farms Denver Botantic Gardens - Now through October 31

  • Family Friendly Times

    • Fridays and Saturdays 10 AM - 6 PM

    • Sundays 10 AM - 5 PM

  • After Dark Corn Maze - The lights are out in Corn Maze and you will use the light from a glow stick to make your way through the maze.  NOTE: the maze is not haunted. 

    • Fridays & Saturdays, Now through the 28th - 7PM - 11PM

    • Thursday, October 26 - 7PM - 10PM

    • Sundays, October 22 & 29 - 7PM - 10PM

  • Dead Zone Scream Park - Recommended for ages 13 and up.

    • Fridays & Saturdays - through October l28th 7PM - 11PM

    • Thursday, October 26  - 7PM - 10PM

    • Sundays, October 22 & 29 - 7PM - 10PM

Children's Museum Trick-or-Treat Street- October 27-29

Spook-tacularActivities for children of all ages ranging from spooky science experiments, the LEGO Station, crafts, mini train, circus performance and more.
