Everything Fun to Do in Denver This Weekend

From the Denver Bazaar to the Colfax Marathon, these are your must-hit weekend plans.

City Park Farmers Market

There are choices to be made this weekend, Denver. Are you going to go all out running the Colfax marathon? Or are you going to partake in one of several day drinking events, which revolve around tiki, tequila, beer, and gin? Are you going to stock up at a farmers market? Or shop the Denver Bazaar? Or maybe you just want to chill with your dog on a food hall patio.

Take a virtual beach vacation at Tiki + Tunes

Saturday, 1 - 8 pm
RiNo
Mile High Spirits’ tiki bar is open for the summer season, which means you now have an answer to your standing question of “Where can I sip tiki drinks each and every Saturday?” Their weekly Tiki + Tunes combines tropical music on the patio with boat drinks fit for sultry summer evenings.

Drink responsibly at this tequila tasting festival

Saturday, 2:30 - 6 pm
Ballpark
Tequila has become so popular in recent years that it could overtake vodka as America’s favorite spirit. Show your love for everything agave at the Spring Tequila Tasting Festival at Blake Street Tavern. Enjoy afternoon pours of more than 20 different blancos, reposados, and anejos, and then maybe plan your dinner with your grandma for a different night.
Cost: From $60

Get groceries at the City Park Farmers Market

Saturday, 8 am - 1 pm
City Park
Take a break from all that King Soopers shopping and hit a farmers’ market this weekend, like City Park’s, which kicks off the season on Saturday. This year’s vendors include a great variety of farmers and ranchers, plus killer food options like Bonfire Burritos, Pandemic Donuts, Samosa Shop, and Butter Moon Bake Co.
Cost: Free entry

Take a trip to Gintonica at Barcelona Wine Bar

Sunday, 1 -3 pm
RiNo
We can think of worse ways to spend your Sunday than in Gintonica. Barcelona Wine Bar is hosting Welcome to Gintonica, a food and drink masterclass where you’ll while away your afternoon nibbling on tapas like clams and cake and sipping on botanical beverages.

DenverBazaar

Shop and sip the Denver Bazaar

Saturday, 12 - 6 pm & Sunday, 10 am - 4 pm
RiNo
Denver Bazaar is taking over three blocks outside of Zeppelin Station this weekend, which means three blocks worth of opportunities for you to take home vintage posters, summer dresses, local spirits, and handcrafted goods. To make your shopping even more enjoyable, reserve bottomless mimosas for $20.
Cost: Free entry

Party with your pup at Grange Hall

Sunday, 12 - 4 pm
Greenwood Village
On the third Sunday of each month, Grange Hall is going to the dogs. The food hall will host a puppy-friendly patio party, called the Dog Days of Summer, with drink specials, grooming services (for the pups, not you), and Tito’s vodka schwag for your dog. Proceeds from the cocktails go to local canine charities.
Cost: Free entry

Live your best life at this beer and ice cream pairing

Saturday, 1 - 5 pm
Various locations
Two things you’ll probably be craving on this sunny Saturday afternoon: beer and ice cream. All three Denver Beer Co. tap rooms will be hosting beer and ice cream pairings, where you’ll dig into five scoops of Yum Yum’s craft ice creams matched up with four-ounce pours of Denver Beer Co. beers.

Run Denver’s only marathon

Friday - Sunday
