Some of these places are good to start with; then you will need the services of a good Realtor to actually get the ball rolling. There is paperwork, starting with the required forms by the state in which you live, i.e., here in Colorado; then the long form required by the MLS, all are confusing for most people. Pricing will be your key element in selling your home as well as trust in your chosen Realtor.
I am using the term Realtor because a Realtor is a member of the National Association of Realtors. There are agents who are not members of the National Association of Realtors, something important to ask when you are interviewing someone to assist in selling your home!
A Realtor you can trust is essential because you are entrusting the sale of your most valuable asset to her.
When purchasing, the same holds true, you are making what may well be the most expensive purchase of your lifetime-- so engage a reputable Realtor.
