As 2014 wrapped up Denver homes sales were as follows. January of 2014 Active listings were 8,688 and homes Sold were 2,843. Peak sales were in June of 2014 with 6,123 closed. However, July was the strongest month for listings with 11,484. December of 2014 ended with 4,309 closed transactions and 6,521 active listings.
January of 2015 ended with 6,013 Active Listings on the market and 2,752 closed. The month of February has dipped slightly to having only 5,333 Active Listings on the Market and only 2,540 closed transactions.
Interest rates are very attractive just below 4% and inventory is at an all-time low. Buyers are frantically looking for their new home to live in.
