Lennar Homes has started major grading to start a new 108 unit subdivision in spring.
Rough Grading of the new stretch of road known as the New Meadows Extension, which will connect new I25 exit directly to the Meadows, was cut in rapid times. They still have to bridge the creek and railroad, but the speed of the project is incredible. We all know how we need an alternate access to the highway. The project is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2015. The connection will have two lanes, which a bit disappointing. I think they should be building a 4-lane road to start with, but they said that enough land will be aquired for future expansion.
The ground was broken for the new 30,000 square foot, 2-story retail, commercial development at the northwest corner of Meadows Blvd and Prairie Hawk Drive. That is known to the Meadows residents as The Town Center. Finally. Building 1 will be completed by August and building 2 buy year end.
70 new townhomes are under construction at the corner of Red Hawk and Wolfensberger.
Just up the block, Wolfensberger and Aaubern Drive, the new Auburn Ridge Senior houseing community has broken ground for a 9- unit (54 on bedroom and 36 two bedroom) 3-story buiding and planning is already underway for a 2nd phase.
