Second Saturdays Street Festivals - Held monthly the event incorporates live music, street food and interactive activities for the family.  The event brings in vendors, merchants and community fro across the Front Range to Celebrate Summer.   The next one will be June 11 - 


Garden Tour - June 27 -  Hosted by the Arvada Historical Society and in its fifth year, the event takes citizens on a self-guided, four hour tour persueing seven residential gardens.  At each stop, the gardeners will be on hand to discuss their work and why they chose to create their garden in a particular fashion.  Call 303-421-2032  for more information.


Farmer Markets - Every Sunday from 9 to 1:30.   You will find over 40 vendors offering wonderful treats like jams, jellies, kombucha tea, meats and organic body products and skin care.  The market has a myriad of locally grown, raised and made products to enjoy.  Olde Town Square at Olde Wadsworth Blvd and 57th Avenue.

Arvada Colts
- This is Arvada's college Baseball Team.   A club team, the Colts represent schools from across the country who come here to enchance their skills and give back to the community.   games are free and held 5:30 to 8 p at Long Lake Ranch No. 1 located at 17850 W 64th Ave.   for a full schedule visit  http://www.arvadacolts.com/schedule/2015-game-schedule/


Sand in the City - Arvada is known for their festivals and although the city is land locked, one day a year residents get down and gritty for the annual sculpting Sand in the City event.  held June 27-28 the event is first and foremost a sand sculpting festival.   Featuring local businesses and organizations on teams, each is charged with building a plot of characters or a scene from sand.    Live music, local food and brew vendors, Sand in the City is filled with wholesome and fun entertainment for the whole family.  http://visitarvada.org/events/sand-in-the-city/
