If you are tired of always putting candy in the easter eggs here are some great ideas for items you can hide in the easter eggs. 

1.) Stickers are a great idea for easter eggs for little kids.

2.) Glitter easter tattoos are a great idea and kids of all ages like tattoos.

3.) Stampers...the small ones will fit in the larger eggs are are often forgotten about for easter gifts.  

4.) Play doh ... the mini containers fit in the larger size eggs.

5.) Little green army men are a great gift idea for the little boys and the big boys.

6.) Easter egg erasers.. great to get the little ones you put on the top of a pencil or the smaller mini ones that go with a pencil.

7.) Stretchable slinky sticky frogs... those things are hours of fun in out house. The kids love to throw them on the wall and watch them stick.

8.) Mini Legos fit in any size easter egg. They are usually bought in the little packages for a couple bucks

9.) Star wars stickers... star wars is hugely popular right now!

10.) Yo-Yos... might be a thing of the past but are a great thing to replace candy.

11.) Mini Slinkys ...watch them go down the stairs. They come in easter colors also.

12.) Gold Coins or even real coins if you want to watch the kids run searching for real money!

13.) ID Dog Tags are actually a favorite of some kids.  

14.) Glow in the dark bracelets for the girls.

15.) Shoe Charms have become popular with kids now and even bracelet charms.

16.) Remember those little pull back race cars...a favorite with kids for sure.

17. Froggie squirt toys make great small gifts in the eggs that can later be a summer or bath toy.

18.) Paratroopers are a great idea for the older kids ... the stores sell them small enough to fit in the larger eggs.

19.) Grow Magic Capsule animals are a great science gift idea for easter eggs and are sure to be a hit!

20.) Finger puppets are another great gift idea to replace the typical candy that goes inside the eater egg.
